GK0C diesel locomotive

Type GK0C diesel locomotive with a Type CAT3412E diesel engine imported from America is a new type of diesel-hydraulic locomotive developed according to the market requirement. It is suitable for the shunting work in subway train and train’s rescue operations, including the shunting work as well as transfer operations in metallurgical departments, mines, petrochemical enterprises, ports etc.     

The locomotive’s car body is of all-welded steel construction, from the front to rear end the locomotive consists of such four parts as cooling chamber, engine room, driver’s cab and auxiliary room.By the two torque converter shaft being filled with oil and discharged oil, the locomotive realizes reversing. When the locomotive changes the tractive operation condition from forward to backward, simply move the reversing handle, the locomotive realizes reversing in progress. The operation is quick and reliable.

The transmission also has power brake effect to reduces the wear of brake shoe. The locomotive at low and constant speed, can meet the requirements of some specific operations. The microcomputer programmed controller and the external circuit are composed the control core of the electric system.
